Except I primarily like them in two forms: individual people, and the great puzzle that is our shared life.

I’m also deeply fascinated by culture, and not only understanding my own culture as an Alaska Native woman, but working to understand White culture — what is it? What does it look like? How does it show up, and what is the future of America as we prepare for a historic transition with the browning of America?
